In the contest, we are soliciting original works CompTIA Security+ Training from the two themes of “solving problems around us” and “solving SDG problems” using the programming skills learned in Life Is Tech lessons. Last year, 716 workers from 44 schools nationwide gathered, and the students read CompTIA Security+ Training of Ritsumeikan Moriyama High School won the fighting award.
There are many things that I want someone to see and that I was able to grow by actually seeing them, and I am grateful that they allow me to gain such experience. This time, I would like to spend more time on the theme and feedback to challenge the contest.

Information I” in 2022 has started. How is the situation?
Professor Ito: At our school, “Information” on the new course of study is assigned to the second year of high school, so although there will be no classes in 2022, there are also points that were added in the new course of study while making use of the efforts so far. In addition, we are assembling the curriculum. Since some students enter our school from high school, there is a wide range of students from those who have hardly touched a computer to those who have very high skills.
Therefore, in 2022, we are planning to give a course for first graders to learn the basics of computers by utilizing the time in the morning and after school so that the second graders can smoothly proceed with “Information I”. In addition to compulsory courses such as ID distribution, moral education, and minimum usage of iPad, we have set up courses for each theme such as typing so that students who are not good at computers can get rid of their weaknesses as much as possible. I plan to prepare for it.
Individual optimization teaching materials
I experienced this while feeling uncomfortable with the simultaneous class. I participate in the “Tech for Teachers Camp,” a program for teachers held in August 2018. It all start when I had a college student mentor follow me and experienced programming.

In 2018, while programming and “information” will be introduce to schools three to four years later, we have been trying to make apps and games fun for teachers who are prepare early. At that camp, I asked the teachers to make IT products using the materials that are the basis of the current teaching materials. From that time on, it was an online-type, personalized and optimal learning material, so I thought it would be suitable for school. Then, after the experience was over, Professor Ito asked me, “Can I use this in class?” From there, we started the “Life Is Tech Lesson” by repeating demonstrations and feedback.
