Short, long hair doesn’t have to mean dull; here’s how you can style your wavy hair differently.
Half up, half down

This hairstyle can let you show off your waves and make your hair look voluminous while keeping your hair off your face. You can also think of a half-bun hairdo.
Fishtail braid

Separate hair into two equal parts and keep it loosely at the end. Grab a part of hair from one side and cross it over to the other side, combining both sections. Repeat this step on another side too. Tie hair with a clip or tie.
The key to making a great fishtail is to take a smaller part each time. If you find it difficult to braid, think of tying hair in a ponytail at the nape before beginning to braid, and cut off the hair tie once you are done braiding.
French braid

Divide into three sections and start making a traditional braid – bring the right and left sections over to the center, then alternate a few times. Keep redoing these steps while working on new wavy hair sections from both sides of the head. Grab smaller sections for a specified braid or larger ones for a messier look. As you reach the nape, continue with a traditional or fishtail braid and tighten with a hair tie at the end.
Dutch braid

Follow the steps to form a French braid but while crossing hair sections, remember to go under the middle section rather than over the top. This will make your braid look fuller.
Side-swept ponytail

Clean your hair back or make a side part. Take sections from each side of the head at the temples and turn them loosely. Cross-sections at the back of the head and tie it with bobby pins. Clear all of your hair to one side and hold it over the shoulder. Grab two small sections from below and wrap them around the ponytail to look like a hair tie. Tie it with bobby pins.
Braided ponytail

Secure your hair braids into a high ponytail and braid the length of your hair into a fishtail. To make a braided ponytail, divide the length of your hair into two parts and twist each separately. Now, holding the ends of the twisted parts, twist both together to form a rope braid and tighten with a hair tie.
Topknot or bun

Tie your hair into a ponytail. Cut the length of the ponytail into two or three sections depending on the thickness of your hair. Twist each part and wrap around the base of the ponytail, tieing with bobby pins. Tug at the wavy hair sections lightly to add volume.
