Assess your eligibility
Before getting into the procedure, you need to analyze whether you are eligible for a DHA license. This step can be achieved by visiting the Sheryan website, an online licensing system for Health Regulation Department in Dubai. All you need to do is –
- Click on the self-assessment tab on the Sheryan website
- Enter the details about your qualification and experience, and submit
- Wait for a response from the system whether you are eligible or not
- If approved, proceed t the next step. If not, then you can go for a manual review of your eligibility, which could take up to 10 days.
Account registration for license
The next step is to create an account in Sheryan to track the further process. Hence, to do that you must –
- Go to the DHA portal
- Click on “Register new account”
- Enter the asked information and submit

Primary Source Verification(PSV) and Computer-based Training(CBT)
Now that you are eligible for the DHA license in Dubai, you need to further go for PSV and CBT which is a very important step. However, CBT is not a compulsion for all candidates, except doctors, dentists and nurses.
For PSV, the DataFlow Group screens the professional applicants by reviewing their educational qualifications, experience, and other relevant credentials. This is to confirm the authenticity of the applicant so that any kind of fraud or unauthentic applications can be eliminated and only the most genuine profiles go up to the Dubai Medical Registry.
On the other hand, CBT assessment evaluates the knowledge, skills, and academic expertise of the applicant. Prometric, an independent examination board conducts the DHA license exam in order to assess the knowledge and skill levels of the applicants. Register for license
For the processing of your DHA license application, you must again visit the Sheryan portal.
- Click on the “Register a Professional”

Oral assessment
Next for the oral assessment, the applicant has the right to schedule a date as per their convenience, from the dates available in the portal. Thereafter, they must pass the assessment in order to get closer to the DHA license acquisition.

DHA Professional License
